Trainee Mortgage Advisor.

Based in Maidenhead, you will join a successful and well established mortgage firm, voted Mortgage Firm of the Year 2022.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Trainee Mortgage Advisor.

This is an excellent entry level opportunity for someone looking to build a long term career within mortgage advice. Full training and development will be provided, with a clear progression path.

Within 2 to 3 years, the successful applicant will be supported through their Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) exams, the industry recognised professional qualification.

Salary £21,000 to £26,500 depending on experience, with increases as you progress through training and qualifications. Once qualified, high rates of commission are payable.

Duties

• Administering mortgage applications through to offer stage
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with Estate Agency introducers
• Researching mortgage products and placing cases with lenders
• Progressing to telephoning warm leads and booking appointments
• Eventually carrying out mortgage and protection appointments and arranging mortgages

Skills and experience required

• Educated to a good academic standard, graduate level candidates are preferred, however applicants with a minimum of two strong A levels or equivalent will also be considered
• Bright, enthusiastic, outgoing and personable
• Motivated to work to targets
• Able to work in a regulated, compliant and pressurised environment
• Strong communication skills and good attention to detail
